How to Register to NHES website?
To register on this website and file for benefits, please click ‘Register to create a new account’ button on the main page. The system will guide you through registering with NHES and return you back to this screen after you are done. After registering, choose your Location, enter your Login Name and Password and click ‘Login’ button.
How do I access my existing account?
If you have an existing account and previously used your social security number as your User Name, please enter your social security number as your Login Name. Upon the first login with your social security number, you will be required to choose a Login Name and answer additional security questions. Use this Login Name for all future logins.
Forgot Your Username?
Choose Location and click ‘Forgot Login Name’ link. You will need to provide identifying information and answer the security questions previously provided by you. Upon successfully answering the questions, your Login Name will be displayed. Click ‘Return to Login’ to be navigated back to the main page.
Forgot Your Password?
Please choose Location, enter your Login Name and then click the ‘Forgot Password’ link. You will need to provide identifying information and answer the security questions previously provided by you. You will be navigated to a Forgot Password page and need to create a new Password. Please be aware the identifying information you enter must be an exact match to our records or you will get an error message and have to try again.
